What is the EABA Program?
The focus of the Elite Advanced Basketball Academy (EABA) is to develop the individual athlete with a transferable technical skillset. We focus on the individual's growth while also teaching the team tactical components of the game. We teach a universal approach to the game, so the athletes can be successful regardless of the teams they play for.
Over 300 athletes from all over the GTA tried out for our Toronto EABA program last summer. There has been an overwhelming number of requests to start an EABA program in the North part of the GTA.
On November 23rd 2019 we will be holding tryouts for our Elite Advanced Basketball Academy program at TMS for the first time. There is no cost to attend the tryout but all tryout participants must register for the tryout online in advance. The program will run on Sundays starting in January through to the end of May 2020.
About the EABA Program
Advanced basketball players with a dedicated work ethic
Each athlete selected will receive an EABA athlete uniform package
The Elite Advanced Basketball Academy (EABA) has the most thorough approach to youth basketball skill development of any of our programs . Our academy focuses on individual fundamentals and is committed to creating and executing a plan for each athlete to help them achieve their optimal potential on the court.
The EABA´s goal is to maximize athlete potential and give them the best opportunity to advance their athletic career. This is achieved through on court fundamental skills training by experienced university and pro-level players and coaches.
How are Athletes Selected?
Participation in the Academy is by invite or by tryout only. Athletes are identified by our Elite Camps coaching staff at our programs throughout the year. Staff are looking for players who have a high basketball skill level and a deep desire to train and get better to achieve a successful basketball career. Athletes may also be selected based on their performance at a tryout held once per year. Athletes will be mailed a selection letter.
