What is a Driveway Camp?

Our driveway camps allow young athletes to benefit from the instruction of skilled college/university, high school and pro-level basketball players, where they are taught basketball skills and play games suited to their age & skill level while maintaining social distancing. Whether your athlete is a beginner or advanced player, Elite Camps will challenge them to improve their basketball skills in a FUN learning environment.

Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.

Ability to handle 3 hours of FUN basketball programming.

For athletes that want a more intense program, our instructors can accommodate that request.

We can only offer driveway programs to families that are located in Toronto close to our facility, or pending staff availability in other areas of the GTA such as Thornhill, Richmond Hill & Newmarket. Our transportation fee for our instructors is already built into the price of the program. If you are outside of our service area and we have an instructor willing to commute to your location, additional transportation fees may need to be added. If you have registered and we can't make it out to your location we will refund you.

NOTE: A parent must be at home for the duration of the camp.

The Driveway Camp Program is for 1-3 athletes of the same household (depending on the driveway size). The program is offered at a flat rate for athletes in a single household.  You can add a friend from an additional household.  They will be sent a registration link and charged an additional fee of $25.

Your driveway or backyard court needs a net & each athlete needs their own basketball.

Instructors will use their own basketball and maintain social distancing.

Driveway Camps are 3 hours in duration, per day.  There are 5 day, 3 day, and 2 day & 1 day options.

Ages: 7 - 16

Parent FAQ

Why will you see our staff sitting and chatting with your campers?
  • It will be hot and we can’t drill athletes for 3 hours straight
  • We will be playing connection games
  • We will be teaching our life lesson curriculum & telling stories of trials and tribulations. These are some of the best moments of camp
What happens if my child gets injured?

The most common injuries we see in our sport are finger jams, sprained ankles, and cuts and scrapes from falls.

Please have first aid items at home just in case. These include bandaids, Ice Packs or Ice with bags, finger tape from shoppers

We will send your child inside to find you or call you to come outside via cell phone.

We ask that you administer first aid.

Can I request a specific instructor?

Unfortunately you can’t. Our instructors are scheduled by locations closest to their homes. Some of our coaches are also teaching zoom classes so we need to be strategic about where they are placed.

Why does a parent have to be home during Driveway Camp?

If your child gets injured we need you to administer first aid. We do not allow our staff to enter your home if they have to use the washroom without a parent present.

Can I include other teammates, friends, or members of my extended family who are not members of my household but are in my social bubble?

Yes, now you are allowed to add participants from another household.  During registration we will ask you for names and contacts of other household participants.  They will be sent a registration link and charged an additional fee of $25.

The site says you are full, when will you be releasing more spots?

At Elite Camps we have always taken pride in delivering a high-end program in our gyms. Usually, in a gym our camp staffing structure has a hierarchy of staff that has different levels of responsibility. Not all staff are ready to run a driveway camp session on their own. Our first launch has only a handful of staff ready to work. As the week’s progress, we will be training more staff to get them driveway camp ready. This is why some houses may have two instructors at a program, as one will be learning by watching.
